“Doc’s Da Name 2000” was released by Redman in 1998. Tracks like “Let Da Monkey Out” and “Jersey Yo!”, Redman’s charismatic delivery and unconventional rhymes made the culture gravitate towards him. His iconic 2001 “MTV Cribs” tour is still one of the most replayed episodes of the franchise, where just like his rhymes, he stayed completely authentic to himself.
